Amanda Grace couldn’t wait
Amanda Grace apparently decided she wasn’t going to wait for us to sail her to Woodbridge; she dragged her anchor and headed down the creek. Skipper Yeckley saw she was gone and thought we had already come for the boat. Then he found her tied to her neighbor’s dock, where the neighbor had found her against it. I sent Doug the start up procedure manual and he went out to fetch Amanda Grace, and used his 50 lb. plow to anchor her, saying “that should hold a battleship.” We hope! Ah, when you have boats, adventures at sea never end.
