Dan Verner is my sixth guest blogger from Write by the Rails – the Prince William Chapter of the Virginia Writers Club‘s Endless Blog Tour 2014. In the coming weeks, you will find here posts from nine additional guests. Enjoy!
I went out to T. I. Martin Airport this past Saturday to the Commemorative Air Force Open Hangar Day. The chapter of this organization that restores, exhibits, and flies vintage aircraft from World War II and after, has such events every second Saturday of the month. The members were friendly, and while there were few visitors, they invited me back to talk to the group about On Wings of the Morning. I left some books in their store and counted the day a success.
I came back to an email from eLection Publishing, my publisher, with a contract attached for the sequel to Wings, titled (for now) On the Wings of Eagles. It should be out in late May, to correlate with Memorial Day. Look for news of the release here when the time comes!
I have written the third book in the Blue Horizon series, On the Wings of Angels, and am in the process of doing a final revision on it. And I am 21,000 words into On the Wings of Grace, which will bring the story up to 1959. Thank you for your interest and support and stay tuned!
